BRICKHOUSE RECORDS is an independent dance music label from Frankfurt, Germany. It was founded march 2000 by producers Ben Hart, Mike Rödiger and Hubee Held (then known as Wackside) and Frankfurt based DJ and graphic designer Marco Sönke.
Ben Hart and Hubee Held started to produce tracks for Logic Records and gained dance charts fame with „I can’t take it" and "Rockin´ myself" on Epics dance imprint Epidrome. Michael Rödiger is responsible for countless clubhits from the last ten years. His biggest success was „Let there be house" with early 90s HipHouser Deskee.
Michael Rödiger joined Hart & Held in 1997 to form Wackside. Since then they remixed acts like Yello, Robbie Riviera, Danny Tenaglia, Jam & Spoon or Spiller. Their own work includes the massive club hits „Turtle funk", „I’ll get over you" and "What´s on your mind" or the remakes of Shakatak’s „Down on the streets" or Sister Sledges „Lost in music".

Marco Sönke is a well known resident DJ since the early 90s. He played all major clubs in Frankfurt and all over germany, including King Kamehameha (Frankfurt), Pacha (Ibiza & Munich), Bootshaus (Cologne), 3001 (Cologne) and the Sensation White Event. He is currently resident at Frankfurts world famous CocoonClub.

Over the years BRICKHOUSE had some popular output. Highlights are singer Sharon Phillips with „Touch me" and the Beatport-chart topping „Want 2 / need 2“ with Mixes by Trentemøller & Switch. The „Ben Hart E.P." was often compared to the stylish Deep House sound of San Franciscos Naked Music. Jon Cutler's "It's yours" with a massive mix package including Boris Dlugosch and Tiefschwarz. Plus tracks from Kid Creme aka Monkey Boie Rascal, Daryl D'Bonneau, The Weathergirls, Full Intention, Smokin Jo and so on.

The list of contributin remixers is even longer: In addition to the already mentioned acts you find: Steve Angello, Joachim Garraud, Muzzaik, Phonique, Ian Pooley, Dave Spoon, Oliver $, Ian Carey, HiJack, Milk&Sugar, Matthias Vogt (of Motorcitysoul), Ralf Gum, Lützenkirchen, Jamie Lewis, DJ Linus, Lopazz, Superbeatz and much more.

Beyond that BRICKHOUSE released several compilations and offers several services in the production and manufacturing business.

BRICKHOUSE RECORDS remains one of Germanys most original and creative dance labels.
