Over the weekend, Mitt Romney began to air an ad (http://mittromney.com/embed/video/history-lesson) that features an excerpt of a 1997 Tom Brokaw segment on Newt Gingrich. Brokaw said he was "very uncomfortable" with the use of his image in the ad.
On today's Brian Lehrer Show, ABC correspondent Jake Tapper weighed in on the controversy over the ad, saying that "it's part of being a journalist...if we're allowed to report on these guys, as long as they are using our reports fairly and accurately, I don't see the problem."
