Soft Artifacts presents "The Blueprint of Azkaban", a Jay-Z vs. Harry Potter mashup bringing together rap music and wizardry like never before. For your listening pleasure is "The Ruler's Back (It's Sirius)" the first track from the forthcoming full-length album. Drawing inspiration from the tense climate at Hogwarts following Sirius Black's escape from Azkaban, the track imagines, if you will, if Jay-Z had been cast into the role of Sirius, turning the wizarding world on its head and becoming one of Harry's greatest allies in the fight against You-Know-Who.

Source material includes elements of Jay-Z's "The Ruler's Back" from his album "The Blueprint" mixed with soundtrack material from "Harry Potter - The Prisoner of Azkaban" composed by none other than John Williams. This mashup was created solely for the enjoyment of others and to demonstrate my remixing abilities, and is not for sale. The copyright to these source recordings is retained by the original copyright holder. If you have a comment or object to these being posted online please contact me through soundcloud.
