An aging B-Boy still loving the raw, fresh, grimy underground sounds of multiple genres.
Started DJing in 1987 with a pair of Tandy realistic decks and mixer. Got my first pair of 1210s at 16, will never forget the day, the unpacking, the smell of them, inserting the platter for the first time, oh yes mrs!! Grew up on old school Hip Hop, stuck with it through the 80s and early 90s while everyone else went over to acid house, bloody turncoats!. Became totally disillusioned with Hip Hop in 1996 when it all became gangster, money orientated and commercial. Had a break from music, sold my decks, 3000 records and decided to move on into normal life. Biggest regret ever!
Normal life is fucking shite!! Bollocks to that cleaning the car on a Sunday and putting up coving crap while listening to The Verve! Luckily the Chemical Brothers and Prodigy rescued me from this nightmare. Mr Scruff, Shadow, Yoda, Death in Vegas and the like paved the way and reignited my passion. Big arsed breakbeat, B-boy breaks, Electro.
Since then been seeking out and DJing the newest, hardest, rawest styles, all with the funk....a la early Hip Hop.
Ever evolving, i'm playing all kinds of tunes, mostly Breakbeat, Electro, the proper underground Dubstep, Drumstep, Jump up. Endulging myself in the Old School Hip Hop where possible!
Basically i play anything that gives you that "fuck yeah" screwed up face!
