Jeffrey Benjamin speaks with Jennifer Burton as she shares her passion for reporting the positive side of news. Jennifer has lived and worked in Northern Nevada for 13 years. She has reported news for NBC, ABC and CBS in states from Texas to Michigan and covered national and local stories in a way that makes them relevant and compelling. Jennifer has a degree from Colorado State University and has studied journalism, marketing and psychology. She moved to Reno in 1995 where she met her husband, Gerry, a Navy Pilot who was sent to Fallon to head up the TOPGUN school there. They have three daughters, who are the source of many positive stories, and some angst, depending on the moment.
