About
Producer, sound engineer and DJ of many genres. Having lived in Georgia, Kazakhstan & Russia, Break Bomb has developed an extremely eclectic taste in music & a unique production sound that follows. In Brooklyn, while still in high school, he started as the front-man of Sick Liberty - a socio-political heavy punk-rock band which has gotten notable gigs at club L'amour's (among which the band opened up for Dead Kennedys, The Exploited, Biohazard and many more world-wide known headliners) rocking a crowd of up to 1,000. Around 2006, he shifted his interests to the digital domain after self-producing/mixing/mastering the band's full-length album. It was then that he started exploring EDM production in Cubase, Reason and Ableton. In summer of 2010, the Break Bomb remix of Mike Posner's "Cooler Than Me" was uploaded to test the waters as a dubstep producer. This track now has over 140,000 plays. Since then, moombahton, kuduro and other variations of tropical bass have been acquired into his production pool & DJ sets making genre diversity a prominent feature. Break Bomb can be found at raves playing out extended sets as well as spinning at established NYC clubs such as Webster Hall, The Delancey, Bar13 and 49 Grove among many others. When not spinning out, he supplies a proper sound system experience.
