With his natural ear for music, Gabriel Ben, son of Brazilian samba-rock legend Jorge Benjor, is recognized internationally for his unique sounds and selection. The native Brazilian DJ, born in Sao Paulo and raised in Rio, defines his style by his heritage. The self-taught musician has practiced his life-long gift for music not only electronically with synthesizers and audio production software, but also with countless hours on the guitar, drums and bass. At the young age of 17, Ben decided that with his dedicated passion along with his eclectic range of musical interest that his talent would be best executed behind the turntables. Since then, he has traveled the world with distinctive DJ sets that range from samba and Brazilian soul funk, to electronica and dubstep/ drum & bass.
