Questioning God, love, and purpose in a world that seemed to have no place for his generation, Jonathan set out on a pilgrimage which took him from the slopes of volcanoes and Europe's snowcapped mountains to the dryness of the Sahara and the minarets of Marrakech. In it all, he found music while lost in foreign cities and backpacking across three continents. That music is becoming Brave the River's forthcoming record “Strange Currents,” (coming July 31) a double-album full of love, longing, and restlessness. Jonathan has toured the Eastern US and Ireland and his music has been featured in Filter Magazine; he's composing, performing, and recording the entire thing himself.
