Brassland is 10. For our anniversary, we're giving away a song-a-day all month to celebrate. We'll also be posting a few of these tracks to Soundcloud & other spots on the web. Download them at http://brassland.org/giveaway or at http://facebook.com/brassland
Brassland is and artist-operated label started in 2001 by Alec Hanley Bemis and twin brothers Aaron and Bryce Dessner. We began with a pair of debuts by Clogs & The National, but our goal was to develop a community of creative folk, and the family has grown to include work by Nico Muhly, Buke & Gass, and Doveman among others.
