    Improvisation lesson no. 1: Take two chords with the left hand (A minor triad and B half dim in third inversion [A B D F]. Improvise a RH melody with only white key notes over these two LH chords.

    Tips for Student:

    1. Focus on fingerings for RH melodies.
    2. LH progression can be arranged in different ways. Repeated Chords. Broken Chords. Arpeggios. Bass line and Chords.
    3. Different chord notes can be emphasized in the RH part

    This improvisation demonstrates this as an example and also, develops into a free improvisation using new progressions. For the student, they can freely practice improvisation over the idea of using these two chords and creating RH melodies on top of them.
