Classical Piano Improvisation: Impromptu Inspired by Schubert in A Flat Minor (first ver). Improvised on December 2nd, 2013 by Brad Stark. This improvisation was inspired by Schubert's Impromptu Op. 90 No. 4 in A-flat major.

Improvisations recorded and improvised on a Yamaha grand piano.

My piano improvisations range in style from classical to early 20th century, to more contemporary harmonic styles.

In developing my improvisations I usually begin by creating a short intro section of music which captures my interest and I wish to develop further. This usually becomes the basis for the improvisation but I use different techniques to develop my improvisations.

Some of my classical piano influences include Chopin, Ravel, Scriabin, Rachmaninov, Bach, and others.
