Austin-based-Toronto born, Brad Hoods is a man of many footprints. First earning a name in Chicago, the young follower of mid-90’s Chicago House, East Coast Hip Hop, Baltimore Club and Detroit Techno used to sneek his way into into Chi-City clubs, carrying in records and equipment to get past security.

Attributes of this ethic forward to 2003, when Hoods moved to Carbondale, Illinois. Finally old enough to enter the club, his subsequent Friday night residency sparked an unprecedented shift in attention for a college town unfamiliar with the music of his travels.

Since the dust has settled upon his landing in Austin, Texas, he has established himself in a similar fashion, once again at forefront of a burgeoning music city.

He currently shares time with Brenmar, Jess Jubilee, Dubbel Dutch, Drop the Lime, Ghetto Division, Willy Joy, L-VIS 1990, Kingdom, Distal, Ngunzunguzu, DJ Yayyay, Sines, LDFD, Wabi Sabi, Elevater Action, Peligrosa and more. In short, Brad Hoods has simply seen it all, from his formative experience at the advent of Chicago's influence on dance music, to his new found home with Broken Teeth, his highly anticipated productions add the next chapter in a lengthy journey through the world of electronic music.

He has teamed up with Anna Love and the pair's seminal Global Bass dance party Wile Out! has become Austin's best kept low pretense monthly celebration. Pulling-in all ends of the spectrum, Brad now co-runs Broken Teeth Crew in Texas and has amassed a slew of forthcoming original productions.
