    It is with great pleasure that we are able to announce the italian newcomers ‘BS1′ and their first EP entitled “Be As One” which is now released on our sublabel BNR TRAX. Despite this being the band’s first record, we already can say that this duo (“a boy and a girl”) have unmistakably created a musical aesthetic to their own.

    Wether it be the tech-house tunes ‘Nightwish’ and ‘By the Sea’ with its vivid vocal fragments, the dublike rhythmic pulsations and futuristic synths on the title track ‘Be As One’ or the sudden explosive strikes of bass you can hear on ‘Nothing But U’ – we already love everything that comes from this yet unknown mysterious duo.

    Their lovingly designed soundscapes, the dusty vinyl scraps all over the record as an additional element in a world of digitally produced music and the music itself stands for fresh and innovative electronica, most likely comparable to the current releases of SCNTST (Boysnoize Rec) and Audionite (BNR TRAX).

    Honestly, we don’t know much about these two italian kids. They came in through the back door without ever knocking… and they are more than welcome! You should definitely listen to this great debut!
