Bogart n'en est pas à son coup d'essai. Après avoir été sur les routes de plusieurs continents pendant 5 ans, joué au SXSW 2009 (avec Delphic, White Lies,...), le groupe revient et a bien l'intention de tout renverser sur son passage. Loin des baby rockers en vogue en ce moment, Bogart joue son rock comme il respire, sans être propret ou malléable mais tape dans le mille à chaque fois. Après avoir sorti en 2008 un prometteur premier album, ils reviennent en force avec leur nouveau single « Behold », sous le label bordelais et ultraproductif Boxon Records. Ils comptent d'ailleurs sortir leur nouvel album à la fin de cette année.
Ce qui se dégage dès la première lecture de "Behold" c'est son cynisme. Et même si elle parle de la représentation des êtres, de ce fait de cacher notre réelle personnalité, nos envies, etc., il est étrange qu'elle soit si parfaite pour danser, chanter à tue tête, et sauter de toutes parts. Car oui "Behold" est un morceau dance. Mais ne vous y fiez pas trop, derrière cette façade se cache une chanson profonde, humaine et bourrée d'influences. D'ailleurs l'EP de "Behold" est comme Bogart lui même : il se nourrit de rencontres.
Johnny Boy: Nicky et Salo se rencontrent à Tours, fin 2005 pour former le complot Johnny Boy. Et plusieurs années plus tard, ils deviennent compagnons de tournée de Bogart pour quelques dates. L'alchimie se fait et Johnny Boy offre ici un remix à la sauce funk et vintage, qui dynamite la chanson de manière exponentielle.
Loo & Placido: après avoir officié en temps que bassiste et guitariste dans diverses formations (Portobello Bones, Satellites, No One Is Innocent, Rubin Steiner, etc.), ils créèrent un duo impressionnant et croisèrent par le plus grand des hasards le groupe Bogart, en studio. Est alors né leur remix de "Behold", qui ressemble fortement à un hit dans la veine de 2ManyDJs.
The Louder Lads: ces argentins figuraient déjà sur la compil Boxon Makes Me Crazy, et reviennent en force pour un remix à la structure plus commerciale, qui va faire trembler les dancefloor du monde entier.
HOAXX: Jonny et James, sont un duo de Djs londonien pratiquant l'electro/indie/dance. Influencés par la pop 70s et la dance 80s, ils secouent le tout et apportent à « Behold » des sonorités plus « House Music ».
kiGma: le jeune et prometteur DJ bordelais, prochaine signature de Boxon Records, a eu ses productions playlistées par de grands Djs internationaux comme Laurent Garnier (sur la radio Le Mouv') ou encore Bobby Friction (sur la célèbre radio BBC Radio1). En gardent strictement toutes les lyrics kiGma propose ici un remix qui semble parfait en clôture d'un set pour satisfaire un public déchainé.
Daroc (Boxon Records), Modul Club, et Distrakt (Boxon Records) s'ajoutent sur la version digitale. Ces trois tracks, cohérentes et puissantes, sont le petit plus qui change tout, Et vous pourrez difficilement vous en passer.

It is not Bogart first try After having been on the road of many continents for 5 years, having played at the 2009 SXSW Festival (with Delphic, White Lies,...), the band comes back and intends to destroy everything. Far away of those trendy baby rockers, Bogart plays rock as if it was breathing, without being neat or perfect but always good at final. After a first album in 2008, they strongly return with « Behold », under the french and productive label Boxon Records. This single announce their new album, which will be out at the end of this year.
From the very first seconds of « Behold » its cynism is obvious. And even if it speaks about the perpetual representation of human beings, about hiding our real personality, our desires, etc., this song is perfect to dance, sing aloud, and jump everywhere. Because « Behold » sounds like a dance track. But don't be too confident, behind this there is a human and deep song, composed as life is: sad and joyful at the same time. And the EP of « Behold » is like Bogart itself : full of influences and meetings.
Johnny Boy : Nicky and Salo met in Tours, at the end of 2005 and created Johnny Boy. Many years later, they shared some tour dates with Bogart. Thanks to this friendship, Johnny Boy offers here a funk and vintage remix, which dynamites the song.

A remix of « Behold » was born since, and it's in the same vein than a 2ManyDjs hit.
The Louder Lads : these argentins Djs already appeared on the « Boxon Makes Me Crazy » compilation, come back for a remix with a structure more commercial, which is going to shake any dancefloor worldwide.
HOAXX : Jonny et James, are a duo of Djs from London doing electro-indie/dance. Influenced by 70s pop and 80s music, they shake everything and bring to « Behold » more House Music sounds.
kiGma : the young DJ from Bordeaux, next signature of Boxon Records, got his tracks playlisted by great international Djs such as Laurent Garnier (on the radio called Le Mouv') or even Bobby Friction (on the famous BBC Radio1). By keeping all the lyrics, kiGma offers here a subtle remix that seems perfect to conclude a set and satisfy a wild audience...
Daroc (Boxon Records), Modul Club, and Distrakt (Boxon Records) are added on the digital version. These tracks, coherent and strong, are the little thing that changes everything. And you won't be able to stop listenning to it.
