About

Born into his 63rd life in 2006 in San Francisco making modern dance punk rock and by putting it in the setting of hard rock clubs. This Unitard clad, Ski bass playing elf became quickly very popular in San Francisco with the help of his 3 salty and sassy dancers Dinah, Punope and Rhonda. In a short 2 year SF life, Borts was nominated 2 years in a row for BEST EXPERIMENTAL MUSIC in the SF Weekly Music Awards. Borts played music festivals in Chicago, Arizona and played gigs in LA and did a small tour of 4 French cities in 2008. (Marseille, Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux). In 2008 Borts moved to New York City and began a whole new line up tapping into the amazing NYC dance scene with new dancers Skin and Bones and new players. Flash forward to summer 2012 - Borts Minorts took a 2 year hiatus mostly existing on a parallel plain rejuvenating life force and is now back in full swing residing in Los Angeles and currently creating a whole new LA line up!
