Many moons ago Co-Owner of Falk Recordings http://soundcloud.com/alcalavicci was sat at a squat party just outside Oxford when in a mentally exhausted state whilst sat on the floor in a hallway between a room playing Trance and another playing Gabba he remembered an artwork by Jeremy Deller which linked Northern Brass Bands to Acid House and Northern Soul.

This gave the young Al an Idea “Why cant I make a band that combines my love of Disco, Acid and Hip House Folk and Shoegazey Gubbins?” He was all excited and bought a guitar. Al was a lazy young man and the Friday after there was a Jungle night and he clean forgot about doing the project.

Skip forward about 6 years and our hero remembers his embryonic concept and begins work (slowly of course). Then in 2011 Matt (Only) owner of Greta Cottage Workshop comes on board and the project burst into a vast melting pot of ideas inspired mostly by yokel life and dodgy smalltown raves.

We will be putting more tracks up as they are done, We are hoping to turn this into a full band with a rotating cast of West Country Stalwarts. All artwork for the project will be done by Hot Putty
