Luke Delaney was one of the first authors on the show that had to be rather careful about what he could say. The man is a force to be reckoned with having out some serious baddies behind bars. That's what happens when you have a career in the Metropolitan Police for almost 16 years.
Luke joined the Metropolitan Police Service in the late 1980s and his first posting was to an inner city area of South East London notorious for high levels of crime and extreme violence. He later joined CID where he investigated murders ranging from those committed by fledgling serial killers to gangland assassinations.
He now has his first book out and talks on the show about the reality of modern policing and how to instill that reality into fiction making it a fierce, compelling and pretty powerful read.

    Released by: HarperCollins Publishers
    Release date: Apr 3, 2013
