Simple concept. We kinda just set out to make a no nonsense block party feeling pure fun dance track. Kinda in the vein of The Funk Phenomenon or any of the old school house jammies. The whole thing is made up of samples that are rearranged, manipulated, chopped, filtered. There is absolutely nothing originally written. We did the whole thing on an Akai MPC and just had fun with it. Theres probably close to 10 different tracks in there. It was fun to make something that we werent worried about being groundbreaking, artsy, or super serious about. Just a fun track...which i think dance music needs to get back to being.....fun. Since when did party music decide it needed to be so serious?!?!?!? Thats not a party!!!!

Thanks to Mike Constantino for helping out on the final mixdown and transferring everything from the Akai to the computer.

And after working on the Akai, i have to say.....thank God for actual computer screens!!! Not being able to see your track layed out while arranging it is a BITCH!!!!!!!
