In December 1992 I had the honor of playing with Brazilian musicians in a wonderful season for 3 days in the Sanja Jazz Bar, who made history on Brazilian instrumental music, in Sao Paulo. I managed to recover from this recording made in two-channel portable DAT. The band was formed by Sizão Machado on bass, David Richards on Tenor Sax, Paulinho Hard on percussion, Jimmy Junoy on guitar and Raul de Souza, very special guest, one of the greatest trombonists in the world. I've programmed at that time my work on the Roland MC 500 and lack of drummers at the time that could be tested on a long time, I had to take a risk and set the sounds of drums on Roland R8. Crazy as this are tremendous musicians and improvisers love freedom, but we got a lot of discipline to get a very satisfactory result. That is, sharing with you guys this very special moment for me, with a composition of mine in honor of Raul de Souza. A hug and thank you!
