this is a really good tune fella, the arrangement is good and the mix is really sharp as far as i can tell -but im no audiophille- with your sounds clear. the only part of the tune that seemed a itte muddy or hazey was one of the pads in the background

any ideas? i had some more elements when i was mixing but it wasnt sounding like a minimal track so i stripped it back quite a bit, i might try adding another perc line, something simple but interesting.

@Bong: dude used this in my latest mix (guy_the_rev - Rough and ready - mp3) hope you dont mind! its on perma warped in my ableton crate now too. see if you can get someone to sort the bass out on this track as its a bit flabby and has the potential to sound really, really good. love this track:D

It's got a really nice intensity to it but to my ears its a bit top heavy and could do with more chug in the bottom end. Liking it though. Very cool. great energy

hi there, i think this tracks as potencial, but to be completly honest (I prefer this way - sorry if i ofend you) the traks is incomplet, you have to put a snare man. I like the mellow but is a litle persistent, maby you sould trye in some point of the track change the ambient. In spit of this things if are a begginner producer the quality of the mixdown its ok, could be better, but is ok. Cheers Mate!!

@Bong: from about 2.02 to 3.02 you bring in your main synth, when you bring the CUTOFF up it gets a bit distorted.. im guessing its cutoff lol

@Bong: no no, everything else is good, well constructed, al; the sounds go well together.. the drum is perfect.. its just that distorting sound at the breaks, and the variation before the vox in the middle of the track..

@Lunchtray: I'm in the same boat. i love the rhythm. My only concern is that the high frequencies are a little piercing. The percussion is so sick. :)

i think the melody is maybe a little loud, it's dominating everything else. Maybe ramp up the volume going into the break down.
