Be it printed original, found vintage stacks, or currently bought.
I'm not a DJ.
I'm a sound selector.
That does not make me better then DJ's, to be clear, i just don't wanna pretend I am one.
I select, arrange, remix, and play music that I love, live, unrehearsed and with unabashed passion.

My desire is to bounce, to have my hair stand on end as a track tickles my body with goose bumps and laughter, to see, feel, and experience those moments of joy that accompany good music.
I wanna share that which makes you wanna dance, shake, and groove.

I started off as a nature and botanical photographer, I loved what I I was seeing and wanted to share that with those around me
So I applied that to music, and I share what I hear, and love, cause it's oh soo good.

I was born of a Father who was a Disco DJ and sound system pioneer of 1970/80's Vancouver. I was always exposed to the funk, the groove, the bass, the move. I was raised in remote Canadian locations where the cold waters of the northern pacific meet the lush mountain forests of Vancouver, contrasted by a warm house hold full of audio, visual, and satellite equipment. This life made way for a extreme attachment to nature and music. The very name Bombus comes from the Latin name for the bumble bee family. Pollinating the dance floor with a mixture of funk, soul, electro rock, hip hop, whomp, and glitch bass music to achieve ecstatic dancing bliss! The desire is wiggling bodies and giant smiles, whomping, bumpin, funkin, and dancing all the way there!

I've played music at Shambhala, Basscoast, Bassick, Workless parties, and countless other Vancouver and East Vancouver shindigs. Since the mid 2000's, from house parties to big venues, i'm always been there to share wicked music. Inspired by and inspiring sweaty dance floors, everywhere.
