BOMBSHELTER, which includes Emil Balle, Kaare Bjørn, Nicolaj Sejer and Hasse Petersen, has existed since 2010, but the four musical talents have played together in other formations since 2005. BOMBSHELTER take one step at a time, and so far it is the prestigious final at Store Vega (Emergenza festival) and the semifinals of the Starfighter 2010 at Posten in Odense, that dominates the most on the experience-account for the aspiring musicians.

"We're very proud that we have come this far so quick. Playing at Store Vega is a bit of a dream come true for us", says lead singer and guitarist Emil Balle, who also writes most of the songs.
BOMBSHELTER places their music in the genre Synthphonic Movie Rock with electronic and classical elements, and the four guys burns to reach out to audiences with their uncompromising songs.

"We work serious, concentrated and hard to deliver a good show every time for an audience that by each concert counts more and more. Our goal is to give people an experience and a show they never will forget. With our show we try to show that one can create very precise and surplus-like expression by being really well prepared and not leave anything to chance."

"We actually do a new show every time, but with equal intensity, energy and willingness to put our music out over the stage every time", says Emil Balle.

We hope you will take us into consideration to play at your venue in 2011. We will surely deliver an intense and energized show with high professionalism.

Who are bombshelter

When you feel the world hates you
When you need to be alone
When you need to shut yourself inside
When all others should stay far away
When people do not understand you
When you feel like making noise
When you get a good idea
When you believe in change
We are not perfect
We would like to be, but will never be. But what is perfection?
In our world this can best be described as follows:
If what you have delivered meets your own expectations,
it is not perfect, but good enough.

When something is perfect we may associate it with timing.
Small situations, problems, tasks or conflicts were resolved or went beyond all expectations.
Things that turned out to better than expected
The music keeps us human.
It helps us express our feelings and attitudes.
It keeps us from selling ourselves through technology and facades.
It gives us courage, challenges, experiences, unity, knowledge and insights.
It creates anger, joy, outrage, excess, nausea, spontaneity, headache, confusion, energy and irritation.
Everything we do is based on the above.
We save ourselves from the world, so we can be at peace. Be ourselves. Calmness to challenge, develop and explore.
A peace we need so we can recharge for the day we are going out into world and play our music.
Although our band history is stretching for 5 years soon, we choose to look forward.
We are not interested in dwelling in the past and its ghosts.
Even though they certainly have helped to shape BOMBSHELTER, and laid the base for the sound we have today
We are inseparable. We are best friends. And we are the best musicians for one another.
Each of us raises the bar, pushing and setting our own limits.
We can hate, love, mourn, comfort, stone and eat like everyone else. We are not special. We are no different.
