About
I am a freelance sound designer, composer, engineer, recordist, musician and sonic manipulator working within the fields of theatre, performance, installation, music and media. I have variously lived, studied and worked in Sheffield, England; Burlington, Vermont, USA; and Brighton and Hove, England where I am now based.
Recent sound design and composition credits include 'The Turing Project' by Simply Told, 'Stranger at the Table' directed by Faynia Williams, 'Vampirates' directed by Gavin Robertson (national tour), a new adaptation of 'Metamorphosis' (national tour), 'Mongrel Sees Field' at the Playgroup Festival, and site-specific immersive encounter 'The Alpha Project' which has been installed in a number of interesting buildings including dingy Victorian police cells, a castle gatehouse built in 1250 and an Art-Deco municipal building. The soundscore for 'The Alpha Project' was included in the 3rd International Theatre Soundscore and Music Composition Exhibit at the Prague Quadrennial of Performance Design and Space 2011.
Recent recording and production credits include 'Of The Brilliant And The Dark' by Ellen Southern, 'Out of the Clouds' by Indigo Eye, 'Here Somewhere' by a little boy lost, 'Dragon' by Lee Westwood and 'Here Now Now' by Hanna Burchell.
I am also a lecturer and senior tutor in Sound Design and Production Arts at Northbrook College Sussex, England.
