Body in the Thames is a single human male that makes musical type noises with analogue synthesizers, drum machines, sometimes 'singing' and occasional use of guitar.
Body in the Thames reserves the right to stumble blindly from one subgenre to another along a broad path that might be described as dance music though in truth he is at heart a fan of allsorts of nonesense both within and without music - like most people.
Although a lot of his musical output consists of remixes and instrumentals, when he does write and sing lyrics they are usually of a vaguely political flavour, though caution should be exercised in looking for meaning in his words as they are often contradictory (sometimes unintentionally so) because he is as clueless and conflicted as any intelligent being would be in these confusing times.
Due to being a solo artist coupled with the sheer weight and lack of portability of analogue musical equipment he very, very, very rarely plays live - though it has been known.
He is also a long-time member of the Drowned in Sound web community and hosts a monthly round up of music produced by community members
