Widely known as veteran Jungle/DNB Producer, Mainframe, Bodie was created in 2009 as a complementary dubstep alias. Mainframe’s mechanics and analytical expression easily assimilate into Bodie’s billowing subs and dynamic bass lines. His meticulously masterminded music embodies the influences of West Coast Hip Hop and classic Jungle.
Bodie is a native West Coast resident, based in Los Angeles, and has been making Drum N Bass music since 2000. During his decade long DNB tenure, known to the scene as the innovative junglist Mainframe, he has had six vinyl releases from labels that include Jungle Riddim, Foul Play, X13 Recordings and most recently Celestial Conspiracy. His chromatic characteristics have taken the Producer-DJ on three European tours, and he has performed numerous venues all over the country, including urbane spots like Miami, New York City and Portland. Bodie has had multiple digital releases on influential labels such as Section 8 Dub, Betamorph Recordings, and Jungle Riddim’s Department of Dub.
