I thought I would share some jams I’ve been involved with over the years. For me, collective improvisation is the most intense form of music to play. While a jam is going on, I try to listen to everything and react on my instrument in a way that pushes the boundaries of what I would normally play. If you listen carefully you will hear the instruments react to each other melodically, rhythmically and harmonically, in these and all improv jams you run across.
