Need a gift for a gifted musician?
Bob Nunes is a Brazilian guitarist who first begun to play at the age of 12 after being inspired by a friend's rendition of a Satriani song. Born in São Paulo in 1987, Bob's musical influences inevitably include Choro and Bossa Nova. His musical sensibilities, however, are inspired as much by video-game soundtracks - most notably the work of Nobuo Uematsu, (Final Fantasy), and Koji Kondo, (Mario and Zelda) - as it is by guitar legends such as Satriani, Steve Vai and Andy Timmons.
It was not until he heard Rylynn by Andy Mckee for the first time that Bob turned his hand to fingerstyle guitar, but shortly after he began to compose original pieces, and in August 2012 he plans to release his first album with 10 original songs.
Main Influences: Anderson Sotero, Silvio J J, Nobuo Uematsu, Koji Kondo, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Andy Mckee, Led Zeppelin, Tommy Emmanuel, The Beatles, Tom Jobim, Toquinho ...
