About

BoBDaRkEr sounds like a heated debate between Jesus and Satan.
Based in the music mecca of Portland, Oregon for over a decade- electronic musician Bob Darker
had been laying low until recently. He had spent the years since 2002 busy running his own business,
uncharacteristically sequestering himself away from any of the various local music scenes. Yet he was quietly-
and prolifically- experimenting and recording countless tracks during the night... injecting life into hardware
perceived by many as lifeless, constructing analog-soaked journeys into the subconscious, manipulating waves
of resonant frequencies into genre-bending bursts of sound... pulling soul out of equipment that supposedly
has none. Bob Darker- working with a practically paranormal level of interaction and understanding between man and
machine- creates sonic compositions that engage listeners both physically and mentally- driving movement yet
simultaneously occupying the mind with a deceptively complex data set..

bobdarker Kyle Brinkman, Portland Oregon, United States

This Wave Transition stays on balance with the rest of the track but ends up luring you into a whole new distance. F-ing butter... awesome yo.

NO FLAM. thats sweet. it's hard to keep the bass frequencies in check when the lower end of the spectrum is so thick. nice yo.

the closed hi hat synth hit has a nice spot in the stereo field. it helps build space for the rest of the reverbs. ILLY.
