In the past 2 years Vena has cemented his position as a production force to be reckoned with. The high demand for his remix work has proven this with the number of releases, high chart positions both locally and overseas and commercial radio airplay amongst inclusions on compilation CD’s through Onelove Recordings and others.
Vena’s debut single Rain Fall Down On Me featuring James McNally gained global recognition from his peers and fans alike reaching #14 on the ARIA Club Charts. This success was quickly followed up and exceeded with his collaboration alongside Andy Murphy ft. Livingstone – Let’s Go All In. #7 in the ARIA Club Charts, #7 in the UK Upfront Club Charts and #11 in the UK’s Cool Cuts Charts was just an indication of the support Vena received with this release from some of the “Big Name DJs” around the world including Top 100 Beatport Chart entries with both releases.
Not one to take it slow, Vena has continued his high output – high quality work while artists such as Axwell, Paul Oakenfold, Tommy Trash, David Guetta, Afrojack, Steve Aoki, Bass Kleph, Matisse & Sadko, Grammy nominees Morgan Page & Andy Caldwell, Style Of Eye, EDX, Grant Smillie (TV Rock), John Course and countless others have taken note of this up and coming future star and shown their support in their sets, radio shows and remix requests. Some of the artists that have received Vena’s touch include Avicii, Tommy Trash & John Dahlback, Cedric Gervais, Morgan Page, Andy Caldwell, Timomatic, Pitbull, Bass Kleph and many more.
Just like his production, Vena's DJ sets maintain a big, versatile, mainroom sound used to fill floors and keep them full. Sharing bills with formidably varied acts like, Calvin Harris, Digitalism, Barb B More, Kid Massive, Drop The Lime, Sam La More, GT, Ruby Rose, Goodwill, Bang Gang, and Acid Jacks, not to mention the countless acts on Australias biggest EDM Festival Stereosonic where Vena played his debut festival set on the Innercity stage in 2011. Since then Vena has been a firm fixture on the local scene with regular headline shows filled with exclusive and unreleased material specially prepared to create a memorable and unique show that only Vena can deliver.
