Kingdom, the forthcoming debut album, is a story of transformation. It follows the Fool's Journey from innocence and ignorance to conquest, coronation and completion of the Great Work. Old and new merge to create a unique world.
The live show brings this world to life, replete with dancers, theatrics, realtime visual performance and camel toe inducing bodysuits. Bobby has most recently played main support to Peter Hook (New Order / Joy Division) and the Light's Unknown Pleasures tour at Scala, London. In 2011, Bobby has also played 93 Feet East, Monto Water Rats, 229 The Venue, Workshop and Rhythm Factory and in 2010, opened the Sydney Mardi Gras.
Already garnering support in the blogosphere (ausPoP, poptrashaddicts), the print media (UK - Australian Times, Guardian Series, Enfield Independent, Freetime London, AUS - The Age, Inpress, Southern Star, MCV, City Weekly, mX) and loyal subjects on the streets with the Bobby and Boombox series, Bobby the First is set to conquer the pop world.
On the air, Bobby is currently on rotation on a wide range of commercial and community radio stations in Europe, Australia and most recently the US.
