About
Bobby Mhark's passion and musical taste is best described by words (or categories) like DeepHouse, Phusion, Soul and Jazz. But as music changes so do Bobby Mhark's preferences and one thing he doesn't like for sure is being pigeonholed. What's important for him is that his DJ sets contain a fair amount of jazzy and soulful vibes.
Together with Emanuela De Luca he hosted the infamous club "bag of goodies" which was running for more than ten years at the Jazzkeller, Tübingen. In it's time, "bag of goodies" gained recognition world-wide and comparisons with "Bar Rumba" and "Body & Soul" were drawn.
In May 1996 Marc Bohlmann and his partners in crime Timo Kranzusch and Oliver Lichtwald aka DJ Lightwood (Santorin Records) founded a german dance-music magazine called "ouk". For the next seven years they supplied the music community in Switzerland, Austria and Germany with scarce yet desperately needed information and stories about the scene we are all in.
