About
BNCKD (bionic kid) . . aka Felix Leiter started his musical career in 1987. By the age of 10 he started playing classical piano, in 1993 he started djing. Production followed in 1997 and well...thats more or less it. A paradise bird if it comes to musical styles and ideas, living his dream with loads of projects over the past 15 years.
1997 he co-founded the Waxolutionists, Austrias #1 export if it comes to avantgardistic and electronic hiphop, who recently released their 5th longplayer "We Paint Colors" - working with vocal artists such a s Blu, Rich Medina, Dave Ghetto, Hezekiah, Frank Nitty and many more. In 2002 he began producing the broken beat outfit "Circus", together with the Vienna based duo "Twintowas". Besides he played keys & turntables for the jazz combo "Forms Of Plasticity" and still is - for the session outfit "60 Minits Of Funk".
Together with Danilo Plessow of Motor City Drum Ensemble he´s on the chicago house tip with their brandnew jointventure „HUNDRED20".

Regarding nightlife, BNCKD has never been a quitter. Always on the run and up for some party, the logical consequence was an own club night.In 1999 he started with the first club nights at Flex in Vienna, back then with the first Waxolutionists Releaseparties. From 2005 til 2006 he was part of Proceed?, a semi drum&bass / hiphop club thing running at Flex, together with Trife.Life!, Viennas finest collective in drum&bass culture. In 2007 followed the broken beat / house concept "Detroit Jazzin" amd in 2008 the techno club concept Pssst!
Since september 2009 he´s co-organizing the "Praterei" clubnight at Pratersauna as well as the „Prater Unser Festival", both fully dedicated to educated underground dance music and already gaining massive international reputation after one year of work.
Hip-Hop wise he´s improving Vienna´s underground scene with the "RUN VIE" festival , supporting the growing scene of futuristic hiphop and its derivatives.
Last but not least: Since July 2008 he´s co-hosting the weekly 313RADIO show on vienna´s soulful radiostation Superfly.fm 98,3.
