About
One might ask: “Where did I hear that name BlueCode Rec. before?”
Another one might answer: “You probably haven’t, but if you’re into jazz you might have heard of the famous Blue Note.”
BlueCode is a Berlin-based record label that was called into life by Flipmatic in early 2009. The original aim was to focus on dark, experimental and minimalistic techno, and BlueCode’s stylistic core is still found in that direction. But the label now focuses on more than stylistic qualities: individuality, originality, and most importantly, fun.
The reason for that conceptual change is obvious: It’s quite impossible for any artist to produce open-minded music within certain given genre boundaries.
Our primary artist portfolio demonstrates a wide variety of substyles and we definitely don’t want to lose their individual capabilities, so we are proud to support diversity. Feel free to get this picture of our music and artists yourself. Enjoy!
