To focus on something is an act of concentrating interest, activity or senses. Doing so, one may be amazed by resulting effects.
It’s like trying to detect two tiny dots placed extremely close to each other using a microscope. Little things like these dots then can cause your eyes to water, or even twitch and break away. The latter, could be described as a ‘system overload’ of the human body.
BlueCode Records presents our take on the human equivalent of the famous ‘blue-screen-of-death’ with a new EP that is assigned to sense the music deep within you. Sometimes sounds can take hold of you while listening to selected tracks. Subconsciously, nerves usually follow an enjoyable and pulsing flow, almost collapsing in a jerking manner, overwhelmed by the sheer energy pumped through them in a single flick of an eye.
The Pitch Black EP tries to focus on one’s inner reflexes by offering a wide spectrum of sounds and styles. It holds some warmly agonizing and comfortably shocking moments. But, most importantly, one should understand that the millions of gestures that constitute life on earth are open to the interpretation of the mind. However, someone stating 'pitch black' up-front won't run around waving a guiding light of purity and cheerfulness, will they?
Light? Not for us, but thanks anyway!
