Bluebird Avenue is an alternative acoustic guitar-based act from Auckland, New Zealand. Since forming in 2011 (having played together since 2005) they have:

* Played many live shows around their hometown
* Been featured in numerous international music blogs (USA, Brazil, Italy, Norway, Canada)
* Independently recorded and released (online) 17 original songs
* Had 8 songs receive NZ radio airplay
* Been "Soundclouder of the Day" (April 2012)
* Had 2 songs used in short film clips in the UK

Influences include Elliott Smith, Jackson Browne, Raymond Carver, Dave Matthews & Tim Reynolds, Nick Drake, Jeff Beck, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis.

We write, record and perform where and when we can.
