'Blue Beach Song Collection: TWO | Songs of My Life by Martie Hevia' is the second album in my Blue Beach Song Collection series. As a songwriter, lyrics and melody are at the heart of my music. My original compositions intimately express my own, yet universal, emotional journeys and life stories in an Acoustic-Indie-Pop-Rock-Folk style, written for voice and guitar.
The recordings are simple, acoustic, one-takes, occasionally layered with my background vocals. As you will hear, there is a lot I have yet to learn about sound recording or sound engineering, or singing, for that matter. (I am a work in progress.) But as a songwriter, I can only hope others find something in my lyrics and melodies that touches them or speaks to them on some level.

'Blue Beach Song' is a collective term for my artistic expressions, which include my writings, songs, photography & designs, all of which reflect the prism through which I see and experience my world, and which can be found on the Internet through my websites. As an artist, I hope you will find a slice of your life reflected in my creations or at least explore the opportunity to see things from a different perspective.

Nice vocals, I like the intimate mood of the song, like a love song over the empty beach. Yes I'm doing a terrible pun on your name there but it genuinely does sound like that to me. Calling across the sea with a lantern kind of thing. yup nice.
