The echoing atmospherics in this toothsome, standout track ring, chime and shimmer into an immersive soundscape. PCRC’s Suryakant Sawhney’s tweaked vocals float airily over a resonant melody, bouncing gently between classic Balearic tropes, but emotive pads and heavy synth give it a firm, contemporary footing.
* Honne and Tatemae are Japanese words that describing the contrast between a person's true feelings and desires (honne (本音?)) and the behavior and opinions one displays in public (tatemae (建前?), literally "façade").
