@guitarkeys: Many thanks for your comments. Reactions like yours are the most satisfying for me. I do these recordings first and foremost for my own amusement, but it's others "getting it" that is the bonus reward. That's the gravy!

"I don't snap back anymore/I ain't got no bounds..." I know that feeling well, such a great line! I don't mean any disrespect at all, but the first time I played this track a couple weeks back...well, let's just say I haven't had a good laugh like that in a long, long time. At a time when I needed it badly. I'm not even sure how I found this track, but it is just great! Then I checked out some of your other stuff. You are quite a unique and talented musician! Thank you!

@Collecting Pool: Thanks, Dan! I really wanted to go for a natural, acoustic sound for this set and wanted all the tracks to feel like they were done at one time. To that end, I set up all my virtual and real instruments with a consistent set of post production FX (light reverb, EQ, compression) to create a consistent space for everything. I also limited the instruments I allowed myself to use to keep it focused on a particular sound throughout.

As I was listening to this my lovely wife remarked "Completely mental, but quite acceptable". Make what you want of that Ugo but I enjoyed it after a completely wearing day.
