"Empty Promise" was recorded in 2010 and released on the web LP, "The Essence of Absence". This set explored the concept of a "string quartet" where each piece was done as a four part composition using only stringed instruments. In this case, bowed electric bass and acoustic guitar. The guests file into a dusty drawing room where a quartet is set up and ready to perform. Once the modest, intimate audience is settled, the musicians pick up their instrumets and begin to radiate a soft, mournful sound. The audience sits quietly, pondering the vastness of the void.

@The Church of Illusion.: I'm aiming to eventually get "something" on stage, but I'm still not sure what that will be. I recently disbanded a live band I had for 20 years, so I'm kind of re-grouping and figuring out what I want to put on stage and how to do it.
