This song is about nothing in particular.
Lyrics:
I'm nonexistent; I don't exist
Don't mind me, I'm just a pessimist
I don't understand this
Are you telling me to talk in a lisp?
Lucky for you I'm not that into this
I'm staying away from symbiotic happiness
If it means falling back into the pit
Just push me and watch me fall back into it
ooh, I can't remember how to walk sideways
Ooh, hand in hand with you as the world went frontways
I was a fool, the fool who met you
The fool who up and fell in love with you
You are to blame, ms. cannot-be-attained
You've made a wrist-slasher, out of me, dame
ooh, I can't remember how to walk sideways
Ooh, hand in hand with you as the world went frontways
Ooh, You've gotta commend her for igniting my flame
Ooh, She's made a lover out of me even if she won't reciprocate

@Chuckie G: This is like, a live take. with no mixing whatsoever. it's not our choice, though! so don't assume that we're pretentious :D I'm glad you found it catchy

This desperately needs better production and I'd be singing it in my bedroom all the time

@ttrcloudmix: it's just an inversion, actually. the riff is just this thing i sort of stole from jeff buckley's last goodbye, lol.

@ttrcloudmix: Now that I listen to it again it's not as jarring. What was I thinking... I dunno, still it's something to think about when balancing complicated chords

These choruses are great, and the song gets rhythmically tighter by this point. It's always a struggle to get live bands to be fully in time. I love the vocals though!

This chord is a seventh right? The inversion it's in makes it a little unstable right now. If it were behind something it would be a little less noticeable. It's a good sound for when it's behind either things, but you might want to think about either changing the inversion or omitting a note somewhere. The seventh should always be above all of the roots (for example, if it's a C major 7, then the B should be on the highest string possible, or atleast above all strings that are sounding C). It'll help balance the sound of it.
