For a great many years I had a number of songs in me that were screaming to get out. The songs, at long last, won the battle and have taken over.

Thinner is my first studio album, and I hope the first of many projects to come. My sound is influenced by 80s Depeche Mode, but my lyrics are very much influenced by the great Ani Difranco. At first listen many people feel that I have made a fast sounding club record, but they soon realize that Thinner is a CD with a great deal of substance.

Unlike most pop music that tries to keep it simple with beautiful voices and simple grooves, I went out of my way to make Thinner an assult. I wanted layer, upon layer, upon layer of sounds... more than enough to start you dancing, more than could be understood the first time around. I wanted wild bass lines, splashing water, dogs barking and haunting bells.

Believe it or not, Thinner started off as a very organic, folk-type, album. Hard to believe when you hear what it has grown into. I hope you enjoy the experience I have created. Love to all future fans. Please join me on Facebook.
