This is the audio track from the 'NanoStudio with Line 6 Mobile Keys' demo video on YouTube (see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x1WsoNhiIq8).
Youtube's compression added some pretty nasty artefacts to the bass (particularly noticeable in the first 50 sec) and after a day of attempting to make it better I've had to admit defeat!
The SoundCloud version is better but still has the same issues (a kind of mid range pumping sound when the kick and the hi-hat coincide). I've tried shelving everything off below 50Hz and above 16kHz which helped a bit, but it's still there.

Nice bass line, it suits well the plucked notes. Later the pad is the glue!!! Nice job, worth listening!!!

@MCOBigBen: 2 words: Velocity sensitivity. I use a keyboard on nearly every track at some point. Knobs are a plus too.

@passive defence: Heheh. I bought a SS25, and have used it on *maybe* 3 tracks. NS works so well (and my fingers are so unskilled) that I rarely wish for a better input device.

a keyboard is nice to have. the magic is in the app (i´d prefer the word software). i cant take a keyboard on train, too crowded. ill keep working on i pod. my biggest, deepest, everlasting respect for NS and Matt. NS= win, Line 6= futile. peace j
