Always having a passion for music, Oscar Ma has turned his passion into a reality by becoming a DJ. After growing up in Long Island, New York, Disc went on to pursue an Art degree at Virginia Commonwealth University. After leaving VCU, he has began to pursue a career in the music industry. What started off as a hobby turned into something much bigger. After realizing that blessings and opportunities have to be taken when they present themselves, Disc has been able to make his name known throughout Long Island nightclubs. Although he is still an Art major, Disc continues to spin at some of Long Island and NYC’s premier nightclubs. While spinning at these clubs, Disc has gained experience as a house artist with progressive and electro influences. He also creates mashups that blend sounds for multiples genres to create a unique sound that mixes things up and gets crowds moving at the same time. Disc excels at creating exciting mixes and mashups that incorporates everything from house, dub step, and trap.
Skilled at what he does, but always eager to learn more, disc thrives off creating new music that’s interesting and changes things up at the same time. He is also always looking forward to playing new venues alongside fellow dj’s artists that he can learn from. Humbled by his past, Disc knows it takes hard work and dedication to get somewhere in life. Because of this he puts these things in everything he does, and his music is no exception.
