This is my own take on the Flight over Venice theme from Assassins Creed II. I realise the Assassins Creed soundtrack is already performed by an orchestra on the original Soundtrack, but it's full of great music and I wanted to have a go at creating something based on it myself.
Used:
FL Studio 10, Kontakt 5, WIVI 2 Brass & Woodwind, Spitfire Albion, Harp & Percussion, Cinesamples Cinebrass, CineOrch, VOXOs & Drums of War, Project Sam Symphobia I & Symphobia II, VSL Orchestral Cube & Performance Set, 8Dio Reqiuem Pro & Songwriting Guitar, EWQL Symphonic Choir, Tonehammer Emotional Piano, Various Private orchestral libraries

@Abstraction: Thanks for your kind words. I agree listening back to this piece. The strings really could have done with being brought into the foreground a little more. It was one of those last mintue improvisations that I just didn't have time to develop as much as I'd like

I am not familiar with the original piece, but it feels like that arpeggio in the background could use bringing forward just a little bit more. This is really a beautiful piece though!
