About
Blake is a Dj, producer, remixer and Eclectic Records founder and A&R. In the electronic music scene since 1999 he has released so many records on vinyl, CD and digitally for important European labels before creating his own brand in 2007. As a producer he has always been quite versatile and recorded music both on his own and with various partners. We can find his name along with Giorgio Giordano as Monobros on Ocean Trax and Strictly Rhythm and with UK Dj Zak Frost as Frogsnatcher for Paul Murphy’s legendary label Afro Art. We also need to mention Blake's long collaboration with Bini and Martini’s label Ocean Trax. He has managed a recording studio for them and has produced various remixes and some good tunes under different names: “Softminds – Breakaway“, “Johnny Price – Diamond Geeza“, “Audio Unit – Club Dj“ (with Gianni Bini) and most recently as Blake: “Dirty Pitcher“, “Make Up EP“, “The Future EP“ and the so big "Rock over You“ with a remix made together with Paolo Martini which has been played and playlisted everywhere and supported by mr. Pete Tong. All these records made him well known worlwide and to be booked in many countries such as China, Russia, Greece and of course UK in important nights such as Trailer Trash, Nodisko and Going Places in London.
After this great experience, in the last two years he has seriously taken the challenge to set up his own record company excited by the new possibilities that the web is offering. With the knowledge gained in music business he started to explore new possibilities in music marketing and communication. Eclectic Records was born as a platform for all the young, original, unsual electronic producers to get a chance to find their own path in the music market. Many interesting projects followed like the single Jet Set and an album with the swedish songwriter, producer, dj and model Elle A or Blake's "What I Like" single, with the so famous Knuckles (now Sovnger) Insomniac Remix supported by people like Fake Blood, Kissy Sell Out, Dj NT89, Don Rimini and more licensed on so many compilations, on a Mixmag CD and ended as a video directed by Paul Bryan with hundred thousands views on Vimeo and Youtube.
