It was by ear mostly. You can get the music for the first part if you google 'Kurt Blaine theme' and the rest is mostly A Bm F# E and when you get to the Candles part its almost all A and G. hope that helps- but if you have a question about a specific part let me know :)

Wow... I found this in Tumblr, but really... I'm really falling in love with it.
The sound is beautiful, and the only thing that that bothers me is that I can't download it.
