Black Light White Light from Copenhagen, Denmark is retroactive bohemian psych-rock with a modern twist bringing you catchy songs that sucks you in like a crimson ligted sky on a summer night.
On September 26th 2011 Black Light White Light released the debut album "Infrared Daylight", recorded in North Hollywood, CA with producer Rick Parker (B.R.M.C, The Dandy Warhols, The Von Bondies, Miranda Lee Richards etc.).
The album is mastered at Elysian Masters in Los Angeles, CA by Dave Cooley (The Black Angels, Darker My Love, Serge Gainsbourg, Local Natives, Dangermouse etc).
Though only a few years old the band has already gained substantially notice in North America. In mid June 2011 Black Light White Light showcased at the great NXNE Music Festival in Toronto, Canada. And the band was as well invited to SXSW 2011. In October 2011 Black Light White Light headed on the band's first US tour bringing the band from Charlotte, North Carolina to Los Angeles, California supporting the "Infrared Daylight" release.
In September 2011 just prior to the album release Black Light White Light did a mini promotion tour UK.
The Danes have as well played with internationally acclaimed rock acts around Scandinavia like Crocodiles (US), Crystal Antlers (US), The Soundtrack Of Our Lives (S) and The Blue Van (DK).
The band's debut Directors Cut - EP (2010) received good reviews in England, Sweden, Norway and Denmark as well as giving the band substantial music industry awareness in the United States. Planning to tour heavely in Europe and US in 2012 Black Light White Light may be the next big rock act from Denmark following acclaimed fellows The Raveonettes.
