About

Black Is Not A Colour (a.k.a. BINAC) is an electronic duo from Italy composed by Mattia Zoccarato and Andrea Profeta. The project was born in summer 2010; with the help of many influences ( like Justice, Bloody Beetroots, Digitalism, Mr. Oizo, Sebastian and many others ) they started exploring the world of electronic music passing through Electro, Dubstep, Progressive, Rock etc.. They immediately received support by great artists like F.O.O.L, Andy’s Ill, Q.G, Beef Theatre, La musique D’ Ordinateur and many others. In 2011 BINAC released their first EP ” Learning To Teach ” on Trashbags, with huge remixers like: L.A.S.E.R. , Nadisko and La Musique D’ Ordinateur. They also collaborated with one of the characters from the TV Show ” The Voice “, the singer Emily Valentine from Hollywood. During these days they are releasing a new Ep for the australian label Greyback Records which will be out in two parts ( originals and remixes ). The most noticeable feature of the duo is the ability to combine many genres to create something different while keeping their own style.
