About

Blackcentr is an Industrial/Electro artist headed up by California native, Johnny Bonnett. Not long after the band was formed in 2007, Blackcentr found themselves making waves in the Southern California club scene. The gritty electronic dance beats and harsh lyrics caught on with fans as they toured the local clubs throughout 2009, culminating with a spot opening for Hocico. The bands first EP, "Disease", was released shortly after in 2010 as a free download and the group found itself growing in popularity outside of the local scene in Southern California where the band calls home. 2010 was a period of growth as the band welcomed new members, further developed their sound and ended the year opening up for Nitzer Ebb.
2011 is continuing to be an exciting time for Blackcentr with a new EP out titled "I Kill", new members and some more great live shows after just recently opening for Combichrist. Be sure to check out the band's website where you can download free music. The official web site is http://www.blackcentr.com/ which has links to all the band's social media sites.
