Black Absynth is a progressive house act formed in 2011 by Ian Green and Greg Striker, who were both active before. They are a part of Vintage Events with some of the best DJs in Slovenia and Ian's label/multimedia collective Chakra.
Their sets are built of darker progressive tracks to more techy progressive and some techno, so the performance is very dynamic. They also put some "live act" into their DJ sets with adding loops and samples, so the perfomance gets even more interesting.
They have a big support from Vintage Events, Radio Maribor, House Culture, Digital Delight, Spherax Records (SLO), Happy Hour Records (SERBIA), Hedonistic Creativity and many Slovenian and foreign DJs, producers and artists. Their unique style made them one of the best "newcomers" of 2011 in Slovenia and they got spotted right away.
